Has directed various pieces of work from Maestro Paredes in different occasions sponsorring this way the recognition of this musical
legacy from Maestro Paredes, producing a recording with Symphony works of him.
Carrasco is the director for the Orquesta Sinfónica de la UANL. In 1997 directed the premier performance Cañón Huasteca, recording it later in 2002
as part of a compound of local composers pieces called "Compositores de Nuevo León Volume 1. In 2003 was again performed this same master pice. Again in
2003 recorded the suite 4 "Convidados". Then, in 2004 recorded "Sinfonía Provinciana".
In 1989 Carrasco had known already some of Maestro Paredes work when he directed the suite for Ballet "Espalda Mojada" during the UANL Music School's
50th anniversary.

Documented Maestro Paredes life and has dedicated himself to promote his works directing and performing pieces of work never
executed before.
First one with a Tribute concert in 1997 performing various works from Paredes directing Camerata Ars, Sinfónica 4 Convidados in Cuba, Directing
Cañón Huasteca in Mexico City and finally, writting his biografy under the sponsoship of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. In Octouber 2005
conducted a composers forum where the theam was about Maestro Paredes life and musical work at the Realizo Foro de Compositores sobre la vida y Obra
del maestro Obispado Museum. He conducted a Infant concert taking some of Maestro Paredes works including Concert for Ochestra and Violin, Sinfonía
Benjamina, Danza del Loco and others. Directed in Durango city "Espalda Mojada" with OSUJED.

"Pepe Gama" was his student, friend and musical colleague. Directed several times Maestro Paredes' "Cantata Mariana"
Conducted musical arrangements for the La Mazurca II performed for the first time in 1997 by a Chamber Orchestra even though it was originally composed
for piano.

Chelist, her husband; Jesus Lira performed in a concert for Piano and Orchestra in 1960 together with the Orquesta Sinfónica de
Guanajuato directed by Mtro. José Rodrigues Fraustro. Also, directed various works such as "Espalda Mojada". Jilma promoted the performance of "Espalda
Mojada" by the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Puebla, by Director Maestro Juan Manuel Arpero in October 2003.
